Quick Tip: Best Nude Lips Ever!

I didn't include this lipstick and lipgloss in the previous post about my favorite makeups because they just deserve a post of their own! I am already finishing my third tube of  both and can't imagine running out of them!

In my opinion, here are the BEST nude lipstick and lipgloss ever!!!

MAC Blankety

MAC Fashion Scoop Cremesheen lipgloss + MAC Blankety lipstick

Blankety + Fashion Scoop

I apply first the lipstick and then the lipgloss on top. The lipstick is very moisturizing and the lipgloss doesn't feel sticky at all. Hope you like it!

Love Lace

A big trend for Spring 2011 is lace, especially white lace!

It's fresh, feminine and very romantic! Perfect for those hot Summer evenings.

Here are some of my favorite looks from the runaway:

1 - Dolce & Gabbana
2 - Marchesa
3 - Valentino
4 - Ralph Lauren

So go ahead, say goodbye to your little black dress (for now!) and welcome the little white lace!

Hermès Knotting Cards

When I first heard about Hermès knotting cards I just had to have it!!!
I love scarves! I think they are a very chic and easy way to make any outfit instantly more sophisticated. The problem for me was I never had too many ideas of how to tie my scarves in different ways.  That is, until I got my own set of knotting cards! They are absolutely genius and  showcase different ways to easily knot a scarf into something fabulously wearable!
These cards are given for free when you purchase an Hermès scarf (if they still have it in stock) but you can always go to the store and ask for it in a very charming way and hope to get one J!  If you can’t get your own copy, don’t worry, I’ll share mine with you (it will be a long post, but I promise it's worth it!).

Let me know if you like this kind of post because I can try to get the other copies of knotting cards to show here!

Beauty Best

We seriously have one big, huge love for makeup!!!

I have had it for as long as I can remember and have long lost count on how much makeup I have (too much for sure!!!). However, I do have my all time favourites! These are products I always turn to and can never run out of! Here they are:

1. Stila Jewel Eye Shadow– this is a beautiful ultra sparkly pallet that never fails to impress! If you love glitter, this is the one product you must have!

2. MAC Bronzing Powder – I love that it has no shimmer; it just leaves the right amount of color for that “I-just-got-back-from-Portofino” look!

3. Maybelline Colossal Volum’ Express Mascara – This is The Winner for sure! It never smudges or clumps and it leaves you with the longest lashes forever!

4. Laura Mercier Illuminating Quad in Coral Red – this blush gives you a gorgeous pinkish warmth and glow and it really survives the whole day without touch ups.

5. Amazing Cosmetics Concealer – if there is one single product I could never leave without is concealer! I don’t think I ever get out of the door without it. It makes you look rested and really photoshopped! So this one has won numerous awards and is really Amazing! A very tiny amount gives you the most long lasting full coverage I’ve ever seen. The only problem is that I could only find it in the U.S.!

6. Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler – Since I started using it, now I can’t imagine applying mascara without using it before. It makes such a HUGE difference and your eyes just look bright open immediately!

7. Make Up for Ever Lift Concealer – This is my everyday under eye concealer. Its formula does give your skin a lift and it never feels heavy or cakey.

8. MAC Eyes Shadow in Rice Paper – Love this eye shadow! I use it almost every day. It instantly brightens and opens up your eyes without being frosty!!!

9. MAC Lipstick in Ruby Woo – I don’t wear red lipstick all the time but when I do this is my favourite one hands down! It is super matte and the color looks amazing on virtually anyone! Aside from the fact that is last forever, you never have to reapply it.

10.Chanel Quad in Mystic Eye – This was a birthday gift from Pri (#millionthanks)! It is just what you need for a perfect looking glam smokey eye!

Rainbow Who???

Now it’s already old news that color blocking is one of this season’s biggest trends! But, if you are still feeling a bit intimidated by it and fear going out of the door looking like a rainbow, a great way to update your look without going overboard is by investing on eye-popping bright accessories! The famous Irish designer Tom Binns has created a to-die-for collection that’s surely to update your look and turn heads along the way!

So go ahead, be inspired and brighten up your day!
