Kate Middleton's ivory and lace wedding dress was designed by Sarah Burton, creative director at the fashion house Alexander McQueen, the palace announced Friday as she entered Westminster Abbey.

"Miss Middleton wished for her dress to combine tradition and modernity with the artistic vision that characterises Alexander McQueen’s work," officials said in a statement.

Kate worked closely with Sarah Burton in formulating the design of her dress, simple, small earrings (borrowed of her mother), tail of 2.30m and Halo Cartier's tiara from the Queen Elizabeth II. In my humble opinion she was simple, pretty and with amazing posture! I loved!! I won't never forget today! goose bumps....

The Royal Wedding

... the countdown to the royal wedding has started!!! With only a day away it's impossible to turn on the TV without finding some aspect of the wedding! I'll be up to see the wedding gown, and since any occasion is always good to celebrate, we are getting together with some friends for English tea and hats tomorrow... just to gossip a little bit about who, what and where!!!
